Tips
When you use a proxy, you
deliberately choose to trust the proxy
owner: (s)he can log, store and save
anything that is passing through.

A proxy is generally useful to access a
website from another country or to
encrypt things you don't want your
local administrator to see (if used at
work, school, etc.). In this case, the
proxy should allow you to encrypt the
data from and to your computer.
However, by doing so, you might
break a number of laws and/or school/
workplace rules.

An IP address is not like a real
address: knowing it won't help any
robber (real life) /hacker (on the
internet) to steal something from you.

How to browse anonimously with mozilla

The term anonmyous browsing
encompasses a wide array of precautions
that Web surfers can take to ensure that
their activity on the Web cannot be
traced. Motives for anonymous browsing
are plenty, with both privacy and safety at
the forefront of many Internet users'
minds. Whatever the inspiration for
browsing anonymously may be, the
bottom line is that many people want to
avoid leaving tracks behind.
Proxy Servers for Anonymous
Browsing
Anonymous browsing can involve utilizing
firewalls and proxy servers to prevent
those in the outside world from viewing
Web surfing activity, including rogue
individuals as well as Internet Service
Providers and even the government.
These types of anonymous browsing
measures are commonly used in
countries where access is limited as well
as at the workplace or on campus.
Anonymous Browsing Within the
Web Browser
For many Web surfers, however,
anonymous browsing involves clearing
their tracks from others who may have
access to the same computer or mobile
device that they're currently using. Most
popular Web browsers offer ways to
browse anonymously, with no history or
other private data such as cache or
cookies left behind at the end of your
browsing session.
How to Activate Anonymous
Browsing
The methods for activating this type of
anonymous browsing differ across
browsers, operating systems, and device
types. The following step-by-step

menu or through a simple keyboard
shortcut. With InPrivate Browsing active,
IE9 does not save any private data files
such as cache and cookies. Browsing and
search history are also wiped out while

process.

Anonymous Browsing on the iPhone
and iPod touch
The default Safari browser on the iPhone
and iPod touch does not offer a built-in
feature for anonymous browsing.

browsers available via the App Store
which do offer this added level of privacy
on both devices.

browsing experience without sacrificing
other functionality. Access to the
application can be protected with an
optional 4-digit passcode, giving you the
ability to prevent others from accessing
your bookmarks, history, and other
configuration items. In addition to this
secure access, Aquari also includes an
anonymous browsing feature. When
browsing in Incognito mode, your
browsing and search history is never
saved. Also, session cookies can be
automatically wiped out each and every
time you close the application.
Anonymous Browsing With
iBrowse2
iBrowse2 gives you the ability to view
two Web pages simultaneously by
displaying them side by side. In addition
to dual page viewing, this browser offers
a number of desired components found in
some of the most robust Safari
alternatives. This includes an anonymous
browsing mode in the event that you do
not wish to save a record of where you
have been.
Anonymous Browsing With Privately
Privately is a Web browser designed with
your privacy in mind. Based on the same
core components as Safari, Privately
ensures that no tracks are left behind
when you are finished surfing the Web.
The addresses of any and all Web pages
that you visit are instantly deleted when
you press your device's Home button.
Cookies downloaded by websites are
automatically wiped out upon arrival. In
addition, any keywords entered in the
Google Search box are not recorded. All
of this results in a true anonymous
browsing experience on your iPhone or

Computer usage

Shortcut keys ABCs
Shortcut keys help provide an easier and
usually quicker method of navigating and
using computer software programs.
Shortcut keys are commonly accessed by
using the Alt (on IBM compatible
computers), command key (on Apple
computers), Ctrl , or Shift in conjunction
with a single letter. The de facto standard
for listing a shortcut is listing the modifier
key, a plus symbol , and the single
character . In other words, "ALT+S" is
telling you to press the Alt key and while
continuing to hold the Alt key, press the S
key to perform the shortcut.
In addition to
the shortcuts
listed on this
page, users
can find the
shortcut keys
to their most
popular program by looking for underlined
letters in their menus. For example, in
the picture to the right you'll can notice
that the "F" in File has been underlined.
This means you can press the Alt key and
F to access the File menu. Note: Some
programs require the user press and hold
ALT to see the underlined characters.
Finally, as can also be seen some of the
common features such as Open (Ctrl+O)
and Save (Ctrl+S) have shortcut keys
assigned to them.
As you begin to memorize shortcut keys,
you'll notice that many applications share
the same shortcut keys. We have the
most commonly shared shortcut keys in
the below basic PC shortcut keys section .
Tip: Users outside the United States or
users using a foreign copy of a Microsoft
Windows or Microsoft application may not
be able to get all the below shortcut keys
to perform the function listed below.
Basic PC shortcut keys
The below basic shortcut keys are a listing
of shortcut keys that will work with

Browsing offline with Mozilla Firefox

HOW TO BROWSE OFFLINE WITH
MOZILLA FIRFOX.
[03:54 PM, 27-Jul-11]
..
The Work Offline feature of
Mozilla’s Firefox is one
stunning feature that most of
us are yet to discover.
For those of us who aren’t
connected to the internet 24/7,
there are times when we need
to quickly check on page which
we’ve recently opened in our
browser hours/days ago.
Mozilla Firefox’s work offline
function + browser cache helps
us to achieve this.
Here’s how to quickly browse
recently viewed web pages
offline in Firefox 5.0.
NOTE: These pages are
stored in your browser’s
cache so in the event that
you clear your cache, these
pages will no longer be
available.
Open Mozilla Firefox 5.0. Go to
File Menu then tick Work
Offline. That’s all!
When you’re done browsing
offline, follow the same
procedure and deactivate Work
Offline.
NOTE:You can not use this
feature to view and send
emails. Encrypted and secure
web pages might also not
function in offline mode. If
the page is question is one
that gets updated
frequently, you’d have to go
back online to get the most
recent version of the page.
This trick might work for
recent versions of Internet
Explorer and Safari. I ain’t
too sure about Google
Chrome. Cheers .
