Unlike the old model of internet
modem that can be easily unlocked
online or offline, the new model
being in the market cannot be easily
unlocked. MTN new Huawei E303
and Airtel E173 is very difficult to
unlock, I recently bought the new
Airtel E173 modem hoping to unlock
it and use with other networks,
unfortunately my model of internet
modem wasn't included. Out of being
desperate I went on a further
research and discovered how to
unlock my modem.
Before I drop the steps , note that
you need a Paypal account to unlock
the modem through DC-UNLOCKER.
DC-UNLOCKER is a website that
renders the service of unlocking
modems. Here are the simple steps:
1. Goto http://www.dc-unlocker.com/
to download the Dc-unlocker free.
2. You will need to buy Dc-unlocker
username and password loaded with
credit. To unlock MTN E303 modem
costs 4credits while Airtel E173 costs
7credits. Goto
http://www.dc-unlocker.com/buy/

the different prices.
When you must have purchased the
credit using Paypal, here are the
remaining steps to follow:
3. Download the latest version of DC
Unlocker client from
http:// www.dc-unlocker.com and
install it on your system.
4. Plug in the modem you want to
unlock to your system. Make sure
you
close connection dashboard software
of the modem. Now open the DC
UNLOCKER.
5. Select your device model from the
drop-down menu and then click on
the
magnifying glass icon to allow the
program detect your device.
6. Once your modem has been
detected, click on SERVER and enter
your
username and password. Under login
options, click on check login to
find out how many credits you have
available in the account.
7. Select Unlocking and then hit the
"DO JOB" button.
